PERCUTI RHYTHM ENSEMBLE:
It’s related to Global Fusion music, a repertoire of songs and music compositions featuring World Percussion and Chants from around the world, with an exotic blend of sounds, rhythms and melodies. The Ensemble is comprised of world-class artists with international experience.
PERCUTI combines percussion rhythms, instruments and chants from ancient world cultures; Mediterranean-Mideastern, European-Spanish, Irish, Eastern Europe, Indian-Industani, African-Senegal, Ghana, Morocco, The Americas-Latin, Andean, Brazilian, Argentinean.
PERCUTI RHYTHM ENSEMBLE creates an original sound, with the variety and beauty of modern styles combined with the wisdom inspired by different ancient cultures that can be found as a heritage in our days.
The repertoire includes original compositions, as well as covers of some popular songs and chants from different music cultures around the world, with lyrics in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Ladino, Hebrew, Arabic and Greek.
The ensemble features rotating musicians, like Simon Thomsen on drum set and percussion, Andrew Brown on percussion and Bass, Jamie Papish on Percussion, with Ricardo Hambra as World Percussionist and Singer, artistic coordinator and bandleader.

Recent venues featuring PERCUTI were at King King Hollywood, Molly Malones, House of blues (VIP Room), Standard Hotel, an other private parties and corporate events around California. We have musical settings starting from Solo presentations, Duo, Trio, or as a Quartet, plus other guests, depending on the different budgets and venue sizes.
We can also include World Dancers on styles like Flamenco, Belly dance, Salsa, Samba, Tap and Kathak in our shows, adding a colorful visual excitement.
